Launch Microsoft Excel and invoke Get External Data->Create New Query from the Data menu. Microsoft Query will then launch, enabling you to interact with any ODBC data sources you've setup in your Mac or PC's 32-bit ODBC control-panel (using the ODBC OverDRIVER or a locally installed/maintained ODBC driver). (Note that on 64-bit Windows, the 32-bit ODBC control-panel is usually accessed from Start->Run %SystemRoot%\SysWOW64\ODBCAD32.EXE
Note: Classic Mac users will first need to install an ODBC Driver Manager.
